Ron K. Lussier -- 3D Artist / Animator
Animation and motion are my main interests... including motion in the musical sense.
I live and work in Northern California, building, animating and sometimes destroying 3D worlds. I had been creating images and animation for the computer games industry for 6 years at LucasArts Entertainment Company... I've since moved on and thrown myself into the world of freelance 3D.
My image creation tools are 3D Studio Max by Kinetix, AfterFX and PhotoShop by Adobe.
Gallery images and Stereo 3D images
I've put together a gallery of still images I've created with 3D Studio Max, and.a few pages of color anaglyph (red/blue) stereo images.
Also stereo related, for 3D Studio Max (r2.5 only), I've just released a demo of my new "Stereographer Max" script that will generate color anaglyph images easily from within Max. Download it here.
Music
I also play the piano and synths when I can (as IE users may be able to hear). The sequences I've used for my site are simple (and strange) pieces that download quickly and they are not the most interesting of my musical endeavors. I'll save those for later... The Animation page and Links pages both have themes as well right now.
The music files have been set up with the "SB AWE32/64 MIDI Synth" settings and may not sound very good on the old SoundBlaster's "Creative Music Synth" or with other sound cards (my apologies). I may try to make them more universally compatible at some point.
All music (and everything else on this site) is Copyright 1990-1998 by Ron K. Lussier
Restart Sound (Top of page)
The Dancing Baby avi file that I enhanced and leaked to the internet back in '96 has become tiring as is, and needs to evolve or die. (Strange phenomenon though, huh?) So it will be going through a new metamorphosis soon (and/or blowing up). My animation page currently has the second dance animation I did with the Baby (back in early 97), and "HyperOlaf" is still hanging around...
